Your Dashboard Explained
The dashboard is your strategic command center. It gives you a real-time snapshot of where your strategic plan stands and what needs attention. Here is what each section shows you.
Phase Progress Tracker
At the top of the dashboard, you will see a horizontal progress indicator showing the four phases:
LEARN → FOCUS → ALIGN → EXECUTE
- A green checkmark means the phase is complete.
- A highlighted circle indicates the phase you are currently working on.
- Gray circles are phases you have not reached yet.
- Connector lines between phases show the overall flow.
Click on any phase to jump directly to it in the planning workbook.
Key Challenge
This card prominently displays the central strategic challenge your organization is facing, as identified during the LEARN phase. This is the "big question" your entire strategy needs to answer.
Example: "How can we maintain market leadership as low-cost overseas competitors erode our traditional price advantage?"
Key Insights
A summary of the most important findings from your situation analysis. These are the insights that directly informed your strategic choices. Each insight represents a pattern, trend, or truth that has strategic implications.
Strategic Priorities
Your 5 (maximum) key priorities are listed here, numbered by importance. These are the focused actions your organization must execute to win. Each priority shows:
- Priority number and description
- The assigned owner (if someone has been assigned)
- Current execution status
Leadership Message
A four-part leadership communication framework:
- WHAT — What are we going to do?
- WHY — Why is this imperative?
- HOW — How will we do it?
- HOW MUCH — What does success look like?
This message is crafted during the EXECUTE phase and serves as the rallying cry for your organization.
Execution Health
Once you begin tracking execution, the dashboard shows health indicators:
- On Track (green) — Priorities proceeding as planned
- At Risk (amber) — Priorities that may fall behind
- Behind (red) — Priorities that need immediate attention
Priority Assignments
Cards showing which team members are assigned to which priorities. Each card displays:
- The assignee's name and role
- Current status (pending, in progress, blocked, delayed)
- Color-coded urgency indicator
